When I visited the Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Tarakan, North Kalimantan, I was escorted around the church, and I saw this amazing wall.
Why I call it “amazing wall”? Because I found the “Hail Mary” prayer from various languages, not only from the major local languages in Indonesia, but also from foreign languages in Europe, South East Asia and East Asia.
Father Anthonio Bocci, OMI built this wall to commemorate the Year of Rosary from 2002 to 2003. This Collage of Hail Mary reminds us that although our language is different, we always have the same mother : Mary.
