Wat Ek Phnom is a temple from 11th century, located 13 kms north of Battambang. I can say that it is in Danger! Most part is collapsed and unstable. Some of the trees also getting removed to prevent the worse damage of the temple. I wish the government will do something to preserve this Angkorian temple.
The relief and carved stone in Angkor are in Danger! due to natural weathering and also of being loved so much. Too many people touch the relief and press the stone. But thanks to the Department of Monuments and Archeology for Apsara who has taken the emergency measures.
